Swim Lessons

Yea – Hunter started in a new class of swim lessons this year. He was the in the guppy group which is the beginner group class where they swim by themselves with a safety belt on and the teacher next to them. But the parents are outside of the glass watching in. Well he was very excited to go but when he realized that we would not be in the pool with him, well it didn’t go over very well. Through the 30 minutes class, he cried for 20 minutes stating that he “wanted his Mommy!” – ut-oh –
Through the next classes he started to get better and enjoy it more. Then he realized that if he told the teacher that he was scared that she would carry him through the water and believe me he took full advantage of it. After every class he would tell me that he really liked his teacher! Stinker!!!!

The Easter Bunny stopped…

YEA – the Easter Bunny hopped by our house last night!!! Hunter was SO excited that he had hid some eggs in the house and of course left awesome Easter baskets for the boys!

We were able to go to the church to have an Easter egg hunt and color some eggs – which Hunt & Brayz both loved!!!!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

My boys surprised me with Cavalier tickets to the game on my birthday. Josh had informed me that I needed to take the day off work but wouldn’t tell me why. So the boys and I had pancakes for breakfast and played in the morning to wait for Daddy to get home. When I FINALLY got my present, it was one of my Cavs shirts in the box and I thought “Geez thanks for wrapping up my own shirt!” – But inside my shirt were the tickets. Josh had thought it would be best if we didn’t take Brayden since he is so young and the noise factor, so we dropped him off with Grandma & Grandpa and headed to Cleveland to catch dinner before the game! Unfortunately Shaq was out with his fractured thumb that he did the week before – but overall it was a GREAT game!

Baptism

Brayden was baptized tonight at Grace Lutheran! After the ceremony we had everyone back over to the house and had a little dinner together! It was great – he did wonderful and never even screamed when Pastor Paul poured the water over his head. Josh even commented how cold the water was when it was hitting his hand – what a trooper!
