The month of November...

So the month of November has brought some "WOW" moments to us!

Brayden has turned 3 months!

Mommy had to go back to work!
We went to the Circus!

Brayden's 1st Thanksgiving!

There are just SO many things that happen in a day / week /month ~ that I'm amazed how fast time just FLIES by for us! Especially with going back to work ~ to try to juggle everything within only a few hours in the evening is just in lighting speed!

Brayden's 1st Thanksgiving

It was a very nice Thanksgiving! We went to Josh's parents house first and ate dinner with them - then visited for a while ~ then headed off to my folks to have some dessert and visit!Yes - he had to do his hair like Daddy!

Michigan / Ohio State Game

Whelp ~ once again Ohio State pulled it off again this year. I’m really starting to think that Josh had something up his sleeve when he asked me to marry him 6 years ago in the Big House ~ that was the LAST time that Michigan won! A little ironic I think! We were both surprised that Hunter did not want to wear any “gear” – he only wanted to wear his official clothes! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer day out at the end November for the game! We watched the game outside and the kids enjoyed the great weather while playing out in the yard!
Maybe next year Michigan!!!!

Hunter even enjoyed yelling at the TV - JUST like Daddy! LOL

Who says that Ohio State fans don't have love for Michigan fans...

Circus Time

Hunter, Brayden and Mommy got to go to their FIRST Circus! First we went to Pizza Papapolis to eat downtown – OH soo yummy pizza! Of course we had to get the Deep Dish Meatlovers ~ we knew that it would take 45 minutes for the pizza to be made ~ so we planned it that way ~ and through random information ~ knew to go and get our tickets soon for the Will Call @ the Arena!
Hunter was SO excited to go to the Circus ~ here he is with his ticket to get in!

Then he got his first experience with the escalators (which he thought that was pretty cool!)
Our seats were great! And Hunter stayed awake for the entire Circus! It was TOO cool!!!!

Trick or Treat ~ Smell my Feet!!

Happy Halloween!!!!! Hunter had been pumped to be Buzz for a long time - so we decided that we would surprise him by dressing Brayden up as Woody! (We figured it was gonna go either way - Hunter was gonna want to be Woody - or happy that Brayden was gonna be Brayden!) Hunter was very surprised and happy that he had a Woody (yes - we know how that sounds - but hey we didn't name the characters from the movie! LOL) And if Brayden wouldn't have been in such a mood - we would have had Peanut in the picture too for the weiner dog in the movie!!
Since it was so windy last night ~ we decided to leave Brayden at Umma and Papaws. As cute as it would have been to have both of them out ~ there was no reason to take Brayden out and get him sick. We didn't even know how long Hunter would last with it being SO windy! Hunt made out for trick or treating - there wasn't a lot of kids out so the handfuls of candy kept getting bigger as we finished up!

2 months have gone by...

It's hard to believe that 2 months have already passed now since we have welcomed our newest addition into the family! Josh and I talk about how fast time is flying by right now - it seems like we can't even capture everything that is happening! Hunter is growing like a weed ~ and has seemed to just flip the switch of maturity as well as independence (which sometimes doesn't always work out the best for him - ha!) and Brayden just keeps amazing us with everything that he does! He is staying awake longer and really starting to "talk" a lot! He notices people and voices and gets excited when Hunter talks to him! Sometimes I think that he might take off as fast as he gets those legs and arms pumping when Hunter is playing with him!
We are SO blessed to have 2 healthy children ~ as well as having 2 children that love to sleep all night! We are still struggling a little with bed time for Hunter ~ but we'll get it under rap soon! I tell Josh all the time that I swear Brayden has an internal food clock ~ when it's been his normal 4 hours between feedings ~ he will wake up out of a dead sleep during the day to eat ~ it cracks us up! His eyes POP open and his lips start smacking and he is LOOKING around to see who has that bottle! LOL
In addition to the survival of 2 months and 2 children ~ we have survived another year of football season! I think that Josh has a bitter-sweet feeling that it's over ~ as much as he enjoys it ~ I think that he is ready to be able to have his Friday evenings back. I know that Hunter will be upset to know that we will not be going to any of Daddy's game until next year ~ we'll see how this weekend plays out! :)
