Just a quick baby update ~

Yesterday I was at the doctors to finally hear that I’m measuring right on track now! She was a little concerned – but that worry is gone!!!! The baby is extremely active which is an easing ‘mind-set’ (all moms know what I’m talking about) The heartbeat continues to stay above 155 each visit – I have another visit in 2 weeks – then I’m there EVERY week – I can’t believe that I only have a few more weeks until we get to meet our new addition to our family! I don’t want to wish the time away because that also means that Hunter will be 3, summer will almost be over, and Josh will become VERY busy because football season will have started! So it’s a catch 22 from all angles :)~
Here is the latest picture (and of course Hunter had to get in on the action!!)

Another all-star game!

Daddy had another all-star game last night! This one was a little more relaxing for Daddy since it was with his entire original Friday night “Crew” Hunter was able to go and dress with all of the “Crew” before the game and walk out and do all of the pre-game work that needs to happen before the start of the game! Believe me – he thought that he was some HOT stuff getting to do this with the guys! He got to check the field with the guys as well as the check the balls and designate the game ball for the evening. It ended up being a very nice night – it felt like some Friday night football weather ~ that’s for sure! The rain did hold off which was nice for all of the players, fans and officials ~ AND Hunter was filmed by Ryan Fowler from 24 NBC for the ‘opening’ of the sports highlights for the game. I am still working on trying to get a copy of the tape or even making a link so that people can view if they would like! It was very exciting. Josh has now taught him to say “Want my autograph!” – what a stinker!!!!
And of course after the game - Hunter got to go and play out on the field and after Daddy was all finished showering - he came out to play some football with Hunt on the BIG FIELD!

YEA - it's 4th of July!!!!

On Friday night we went to fireworks last night in Oak Harbor and figured that since Umma & Papaw weren’t gonna meet us this year – that we would try to save some time and just park on the other side of the bridge and go and sit on the bridge to watch them! WRONG ~ we were greeted by an Oak Harbor police officer who informed us that there were new rules this year and you were not allowed to sit on the bridge. BUT I guess it is a lot safer to sit on the side of the road to watch them ~ LOL. We did watch them – but realized that they were a LOT louder than actually watching them in town – Hunter was NOT pleased with the booming sounds but did enjoy watching them!
On Saturday – we went to the Mud Hens game where they had fireworks after the game as well as Toledo’s fireworks was that evening! So it was a 2 for 1 deal!

Golfing as a family!

Today- both Daddy and Mommy had the day off work – so we decided to go golfing and with that – we decided to take Hunter to the golf course with us! (Never gonna know how he does unless ya try it out!) He had SUCH a great time – and was defiantly the talk of the golf course! He took his 2 clubs and thought that he was hot stuff! We only golfed 9 holes because we figured anything more than that would just be a nightmare with him! It was a little slow play due to the fact that pry everyone else had off from work too ~ but he did great. Once we were finished and got back into the car – I think that he might have made it out of the golf course parking lot – and that was it before he crashed for a GOOD nap!
